Hi, I'm Nichole! Here's my story of why I started my own beauty business.

I worked for spas starting in 2012 when I first got licensed as an esthetician and laser tech. I worked really hard for a few big Med Spas and day spas as their Medical Esthetician and sometimes spa or business manager.  If you’re working for someone else I’m sure you can relate, you feel defeated maybe even bitter sometimes. I was working long days, I wasn’t allowed to take long periods of vacation or time off. Any time I was sick the whole spa went in to a panic trying to reschedule clients, asking when the soonest I could return was. One time I was guilted in to coming back to the spa just 3 days after being diagnosed with the Flu. “Just wear a mask” was the solution from the owner.

All of the time, money and sacrifices I was investing in to somebody else and THEIR small business was really starting to drain me. I wasn’t happy, my body physically ached daily, by the time I got home it was time for me to go to sleep, wake up and do it all over again. All of this I was doing for a low hourly rate or a commission where half of all my services were taken from me. This structure just really wasn’t working for me anymore.

One day I realized, if I can build a clientele and make these spas a lot of money I can do the same for myself. I wanted to live like them, make more money, have flexibility in my schedule, I wanted to take vacation or sick days when needed and not feel guilty. I wanted the pride of investing in to myself and MY business. I wanted to make 6 figures and not have to work even more to do it.

So in 2016 while I was pregnant with my daughter as a single mom I took the leap of faith and started my own beauty business. Now I started small, I only have a few hundred dollars to invest in my business but I did. As I got more clients I reinvested in equipment and supplies that would allow me to do more services and bring in additional income.

From those humble beginnings of using skincare samples as my back bar to building my brand to 6 figures and expanding in to other brands. I can now happily say I am the most successful I have ever been, I am the happiest I have ever been, I take time for me when needed, I make the most money I have ever made, I take those vacations and sick days because as estheticians we need our time for rest. And now I help beauty pros just like you start their journey to becoming a 6 figure successful business owner. I’m here to help along the way and make sure you find your happiness and freedom just like I did all while working less and being your most successful.
